The Mid-Atlantic Mathematical Logic Seminar (MAMLS) will hold its first meeting of 2017-2018 at Wesleyan University on Saturday, October 21 and the morning of Sunday, October 22. Deirdre Haskell, Alex Kruckman, Alice Medvedev, Philipp Rothmaler, Hans Schoutens, Alexandra Shlapentokh, Pierre Simon, and Sergei Starchenko will give lectures in Exley Science Center 121; and there will be a reception after the Saturday talks. The financial support of the National Science Foundation, via Arthur Apter and the CUNY Research Foundation, is gratefully acknowledged.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the Radisson Hotel in Cromwell, CT; you can make reservations here or call them at 860-635-2000. Please let them know you are with the MAMLS Conference at Wesleyan. There will be a shuttle service between the hotel and Wesleyan. Parking Lot D, behind Exley Science Center, is closest to the lecture room.
For information on how to apply for travel support, follow the link at the bottom of this page. Any participants without their own sources of funding are eligible to apply, though graduate students, young researchers, female mathematicians and members of under-represented groups are particularly encouraged to apply.
